Founded in February 2016 by acclaimed Italian electronic producer Gian Paolo Fontani, Fountains Records is a vibrant independent label based in Italy, dedicated to innovative electronic music.
Founder's Journey
Gian Paolo Fontani, born in 1983 in La Spezia, ignited his musical passion as a child. Experimenting with software on PlayStation in 1999, he evolved into a professional producer by 2005 using Logic on Mac.
Key Milestones
- 2012 debut as 'Il Viaggiatore' on Gamepad Records with single Anima (3 electronic tracks), followed by EP Fotogrammi Di Vita, single Rinascita, and album Ali Di Azzurro (20 tracks).
- Collaborations including singles, remixes, and compilations across Gamepad Records and Italo Rumble Digital.
- 2014 release of Spirit under his real name, featuring orchestral intro by Ruben Paganelli (ex-Media Records collaborator with Gigi D’Agostino).
