Outrider Music, LLC is a Charlottesville, Virginia-based artist management firm championing emerging talent in pop-punk, alternative rock, and beyond. Founded by local music enthusiast Anne McGinnis, the company empowers hometown artists to thrive amid industry challenges.
Anne McGinnis: A Local Visionary
Born and raised in Charlottesville, Anne discovered her love for music early on, shredding guitar in teenage pop-punk and alt-rock bands. She soon pivoted to the business side, graduating from Charlottesville High School and earning a Music Business degree from New York University.
At NYU, Anne interned two semesters at Warner Music Group, honing skills from top industry pros. Motivated by watching local heroes falter under poor deals, she launched Outrider Music to advocate for artists' success.
